Cole Simmons
MSS, LSW
Psychotherapist
As an intuition-led empath, Cole's goal as a therapist is to co-create tools and a plan that support each client in understanding themselves and relating to others, redefining the self and continuing healing. Much of his practice is focused on the intersection of holistic wellness through trauma and identity formation. Although Cole's therapeutic orientation is primarily trauma-informed and intersectional feminist centered, he utilizes elements of many different models and frameworks that may suit the client’s needs and goals.
As a Black transmasculine therapist, Cole specializes in working with LGBTQ+ youth of color, young adults, and those managing chronic illnesses. Cole strives to earn trust and build a therapeutic relationship that is meaningful for clients by employing radical nonjudgement and deep empathy.
