Sophie Fink, PsyD.


Sophie Fink, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist who received her Bachelor's degree from the Eliot Pearson School of Child Development at Tufts University and her Doctorate in clinical psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. Dr Fink completed her internship training at Butler Hospital's Women's DBT program at Brown University and the Human Relations Service in Wellesley, MA. In addition, Dr. Fink has worked in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient, partial hospital, and college counseling centers. Prior to joining the team at Walnut Psychotherapy Center, she has maintained a private practice in Center City and worked as a clinician at local group practice. Dr. Fink has an eclectic therapeutic approach with a particular focus on family systems and attachment. Her work is based in dynamic understanding but also implements practical behavioral interventions to treat a variety of disorders including anxiety, PTSD, and depression. She prides herself in providing safe, culturally competent therapy with a particular awareness of issues of social justice. Dr. Fink works with individuals and families across the lifespan, including young children, and also has a particular interest in women's issues, gender development,  and transitions of adolescence and young adulthood.
