Melissa K. Krechmer, MSW


Melissa is committed to the co-creation of a protected and empathic environment to explore life's challenges. She believes in the importance of developing a foundation of wellness to safely explore one's inner world in order to better navigate the world at large. She embraces the chaos and complexity of individual and collective identities working with individuals to make meaning of and navigate life's journey. Melissa has experience in community based settings working with a wide range of adult and older adult concerns including collective trauma and cultural identity issues. She looks forward to working with you towards wellness and healing.



Melissa is a Licensed Social Worker and member of the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Work (PSCSW)



Melissa has worked with adults and older adults on a range of issues including depression, anxiety, reproductive health, housing transitions, grief and loss, cognitive health including dementia, and caregiver support.



Melissa utilizes a comprehensive approach to therapy drawing from attachment based, feminist, family systems and trauma informed theories. She integrates mindfulness practices to co-create safe space with clients.
