The biggest question our community has is about our fees. We are not a non-profit, but we are doing our best to to pay our therapists a living wage. The fee that you pay will go directly to your therapist and the simple continuation of our practice. Our standard fee is $150 per session, however we offer discounts through three different programs:

INSURANCE

SLIDING SCALE

THERAPY SCHOLARSHIPS

We recognize that many of our clients have lower incomes and we don’t want this to be a barrier to receiving quality mental health care. Therefore, we offer a limited number of scholarship slots to those making less than $27,000 per year. A scholarship with one of our full-time staff members have a $35 fee per session. Additionally, sessions with our interns will vary between $25 and $35 per session, depending on what’s affordable for you.

We are in-network with a variety of insurance companies:

Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Independence Blue Cross

Magellan

Cigna

United

We are in the process of becoming credentialed with even more, and we can use out-of-network benefits until we get there. Major companies we are not yet in-network with include Aetna, Penn Behavioral Health, and any Medicare or Medicaid plans.

Our sliding scale is based on your total annual income (from all sources). We do not ask for income documentation, relying instead upon mutual respect and trust with our community. These fees are designed to reflect a reasonable percentage of income that can be contributed to your mental and emotional well-being.
