Biany Perez, M.Ed, MSS, LSW

Biany’s aim is to provide her clients with a friendly, respectful, and supportive environment. She specializes in working with adolescents, college students, women, adults, and the LGBTQ community. Biany can provide individual counseling, couples and family therapy. Biany believes the therapeutic relationship is essential to the process of wellness and improving one’s life. It is through the therapeutic relationship, that people can improve their lives by gaining a better awareness and understanding of themselves. A part of her style is using a here and now approach. Conflicts in your life and relationships will likely emerge in the therapeutic relationship. This process is collaborative, compassionate and deeply nonjudgmental. Biany is a queer-affirming, trans-affirming, and a culturally sensitive therapist. She is also fluent in Spanish and can work with Spanish-speaking clients.
